These Japanese socks are manufactured in a small factory that has been based in the town of Koryo, Nara, Japan since 1921. Socks are made with no chemical dyes and only natural colors from all over the world.
"Garabou" spinning method was invented in 1877 as a way to mechanically spin Japanese short fibers recycled organic cotton. The unevenness and irregularity of the yarn makes it very comfortable to wear and is breathable. Due to the uneven thickness of garabou yarn, a special 40 year old machine is used during the knitting process.
